Omfg Plz Help On Gen1!

i am so freakin mad and sad right not i was driving my 350Z at my grandparents and the Z went crazy and went right into the pool i just got in a couple days ago well i went flying into the pool trying to rescue it and i decided to let it air dry and hope to god it still works, well idk what i should do it has been drying for a couple hours idk if i should try it again (last time i tried i turned it on and it didnt realign or anything then it made a burnt smell so i turned it off) but i dont want to ruin the whole thing so i REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

a old friend and i were driving our xmods in the rain about two years ago so i forgot what i was drivin but i remember what he was drivin cause he only had one xmod. he had his red supra and hit some grass growing out of a crack in the street and went flying straight into the muddy gutter.... he fully submerged his car... so we took it in dried it out for a few days and it worked fine. but im thinking since u already tried to see if ur chassis still works you fried it because u didnt let it dry fully...... thats just what i think though and i would be kind enough to sell u a gen1 chassis if you end up needeing a new one

nah its not done, ur EP is done...unscrew everything and let it dry if u dont want rust i think on ur rolling chassis and get a new EP thats it.

hey vette if you see this the car would have been safer in my hands lol just kidding guys but um all i can say is leave it alon efor about then next day or so if it doesnt work after that i am very sorry sir but it is gone i onley know that you can drive the evos into the water and them be safe after 3 hours of drying trust me i drove my hummer into my pool a couple hours of drying after a quick dry with hairdryer even if you do turn it on but when you tryed your car did you try driving it or just to see it idle if you just tryed to see it idle then you should still be fine don't try to drive it yet ok ok your SOL

hey if anything really goes bad and you want your 350Z outa your hands let me know lol sorry though all i can say is dont touch it for like 10 hours and you might be in luck but its a big iffy

im pretty sure u fried it when u tried it that first time turning it on when it was still wet!!

no I didnt try it i took it out of the water and imediatly my brother tried it but then i let it dry for like an hour and then it hissed and made a burnt smell

OMG you paid 150 for a gen1 and ruined it? Well I dunno what to say. Im pretty sure you ruined the board. You can get a new one. I think the only thing you can make out of it is a roller.

EDIT: Did you take the batteries out after it droped in the pool?

no i paid 40 for it but that was all my money i had to that i saved

well what you should do right now then is take it out of the chassie and dry it then look for anything brown lol thats supose to be green or silver
