Rx-7

Hi folks!

I had a cheap nikko Rx-7 body sitting on the shelf for too long and I thought with a little bit of bodywork, it could have a pretty good drift car potential.
I won't reveal any pictures of the body until further bodywork has been done..

Coments are welcome!

Ooh an RX-7, I like. Those rims and tires look hot, whether or not they go on the car. What colors do you plan on making it?

Thanks! I don't have any color theme yet but I have some blue and black spray cans at home which I am still debating on.

-Stage 2 motor with neo magnets
-18 Gauge wire conversion


Custom chassis extension, I still need to cut a lower mount plate.


There is no specific reason why the antenna is up front exept that there was a hole on the hood already plus I didn't felt like drilling a hole onto the body.

how is the awd gonna work with the chassis extension unless your using a custom made shaft

Looking good! Can't wait to see some body pics. I am not too fond of the antenna coming from the hood. What about an internal antenna? That would improve realism, and keep functionality.

For the AM radio, any internal is trash, so there's no real way of making it look pretty without an external. 2.4ghz systems just aren't worth the xmods.

for the antenae....i see a spot closer the rear end on the "grey plastic" with a hole for a screw (may be even where it was located stock-form). install it here and have it come out the side/rear end instead?

It's not really teasing since it's the only thing i've done to it...
