Default I am coming closer to completing my all GPM chassis.

Obviously I still got a bit to go, like getting some lithium batteries and installing the board and re-soldering it together, I still got to get front and rear gear boxes, differentials, the part inside the knuckle that the wheels bolt into, can't think of the name of them..

Basically I need to still get the drivetrain in GPM. No, the chassis is not real GPM, but the rest is, and the rest that I have to get will be.

Yes it is. When I got my first batch of GPM parts I just sat there and stared at them for a good while because they looked freaking amazing. I love it, can't wait until I can get some more and get this bad boy finally completed.

Well, back before BLT quit Xmods he was supposed to do a little work for me, like a real hot motor and some liths, so I was kind of going to go that route.

I don't know anything about the v2.2, but I definitely want to run a hot motor so stacking FET's is most likely going to happen, but either I will do that on a spare board if I can get a hold of someones bad one, or just pay someone to do it because I don't know how steady my hands are for something so small like that.

I want it to be fast, that's for sure. I don't want it to be bulletproof but only run stock speeds.

It hasn't been cheap, my first batch of GPM was about $100, and that was getting some of the stuff on sale. I've probably got another $60 to get in GPM and the batteries will probably be $40 or so.. I'm starting to get a lot of money wrapped up into this one car, and that's not including all of the other Xmods I have. O_o

I'm not going to bother totaling it up, I will scare myself.

Well, I finally did a little more work on it while messing around with the other cars some, I got the board mounted and put some different tires on it. Still need to solder it but that won't be done until I do the power switch bypass.

And just for reference, next to a bone stock chassis:

Didn't really notice how much it's changed until I did that.

Still have a ton of stuff to order, but I had other things to buy first, like a new desk, a futon, a cover for my car.. all of that would have been enough to complete the chassis and then some but life comes first.

Look Sweet!
Can you by any chance, Find out the weigh of the full GPM'ed chassis compared to the bone stock for reference?

I don't currently have a scale precise enough to do that, but once I get it completed that is definitely something I will do, not a bad idea at all.

I'm hoping here in maybe about a month I can order more parts. I've got other stuff to spend money on for now, need to get some RAM for my computer and possibly a vid card. Heck, I need to start saving for Christmas. It might be next year until I order parts for it. It seems my projects are always drawn out.. I hate it.
