Cool

Well the body kit is the least of ur worries.

No Drift tires are not a Need. But not the worst idea to get. Their just Plastic wheels and tires. Plus U WILL have to get the 4WD upgrade to drift with the Drift Tires.

I would just get a 5 Cell to start, and find some "baby bottom smooth asphalt/concrete" and start drifting their. Then slowly work u way to my "pat pending" 8 Cell upgrade, an 4WD upgrade, then finally the Drift Tires. Thats the way went and I Can Drift!

I think their worth it if your goin to get into drifting..
but the hard tires in the tire kit work really well because they do have a littlle grip to them

If you keep spining out with the drift tires, then don't floor it. I have AWD and drift tires on my Evo, and it has grip, as long as I don't floor it. There is a difference between them and the treaded ones. If you are serious about drifting, then get them.

go with the drift tires from atomic.
the upgrade is just plastic rims with the sides painted black to look like tires
might as well use and old pair or rims and save yourself 10 bucks

i honestly don't recommend taping wheels. I tried it...not a huge difference in terms of drifting, and when i took it off, craploads of dust stuck on. Maybe my crappy taping, but i would still recommend some sort of tires with less traction, a slippery floor, or some upgraded parts. My lancer is stock and when i drifted with it it was fine...provided it was on a slippery floor. It did spin out some times...though.
