Default civic project

well, im workin on pimping out a civic and my bodies aren't here yet. so i thought i'd make some custom body kits and test fit them on this beater civic body that i have. the front body kit is known as the Dragon Z kit, and the back bumper is a blitz bumper. both are originally from an eclipse model kit. back bumper still needs a lot of sanding and stuff, but both bumpers are direct bolt on. keep in mind that the beater civic that i test fitted the bumpers on has no front clip, no suspension and the body is twisted pretty bad. so ground clearance will be better on a nice new body on a complete chassis!

updates. i strengthened the front bumper with JB WELD. trimmed down the back bumper so its the same size as the front. now i gotta fill in the gap in the back bumper and figure out how to make bigger sideskirts. Still havent received my new civic body from atomicmods yet . i ordered it on the 11th

I know how that goes, it's been too cold to even paint in my basement, I hate winter sometimes. Where'd you get the bumper from initially?

couldn't find way to do the sideskirts. so i masked the car up and primered it. i guess i'll have to go buy the body kit sideskirts or something.

After you put on the side skirts, that'll be awsome. Right now it looks like every real life civic I see.......incomplete body kit, unpainted, and with a fart can out the back . Excelent work though man, very clean. Having just painted/molded my body kit on my supra I know how much effort and patience that takes. Here's hoping to a fly not landing on your wet clear coat and you having to start over like me . Looking forward to seeing painted pics, what kind of paint sceme are you going for?

yeah. the thing about my civic is, its just way to **** cool. lol. as for paint scheme, its just a normal one color job. nothing 2 crazy.
i will have a lot of sponsor decals on the windows tho....dont worry. it'll give the car some character!

God love Wal-Mart, I don't know what I'd do without it.
