Default I know its late but New to Xmods
Just saying hi, and that im new to the Xmods world. I just bought 2 starter Evo kits of the Scion TC and Hummer, I think im gonna pick up some Gen1's real soon.

So just saying hi looking foward to talking to you guys on here.

Hi! Welcome!

This is just my opinion but I would say stay away from the gen1 chassis! If you want a particular shell then try to buy it separately and mount it on an Evo chassis because again in my opinion the gen1 chassis are no where near as reliable and cause you far more hassle than joy in the long run!!

Dude - it wasn't bad advice! Just my opinion! My gen1 cars die a lot quicker than my Evo cars which is causing me to replace all my gen1 chassis with Evo ones but as I said thats my opinion he doesn't need to pay any attention to it whatsoever!

The evo trucks have horrible drive lines, Get a aluminum one A.S.A.P. I wish I have one, but there $35, but get it!, and welcome to xmodsource.com

omg people this is an internet forum, dont be so angry about stuff. does it sound like i was mad? geez these are just toys, let it go my gosh. I was not jumping on him. all i said was dont give him bad advice, (putting ideas in his head that gen1s are bad).

yeah and it never too late u can build a big collection cause the evos if u look right stores are on sale now so buy up

well in my opinion I LOVE THE GEN 1 CHASIS much more durable if you have no upgrades and as long as you dont go and get it run over it can survive some pretty harsh impacts but then again i only have 1 evo truck wjich if upgraded is pretty good too. so do whatever you want but i seem to like the gen 1 bodies alittle more...

Don't give bad advice. Gen1's are better in nearly all respects, unless you spend large wads of cash on the Evo....

i really want a supra and a skyline, i may go back to the stores and get a few more scions becase the starter kits are on sale, then i can buy the bodies for them, im really looking for a Mitsui Lancer becasue i bought a body kit for it for $1 the other day

i was also looking for Mini-Z bodies that fit becasue i find it hard to beleive that theres no Eclipse body style for Xmods.
