I see them selling on ebay for 65$, NIB. Rarer ones are much more expensive.

There is a brand new Gen 1 Civic at my RS right now for $50.

I bought a brand new Gen 1 Civic a few months ago from them for $30.

I've seen them going for about $60 on a regular basis.

Personally, if they're NIB without ever having been opened... The truth is they should only cost this much:

Gen 1 Launch - $45-60 (yellow skyline, both civics, both supras, silver RSX)
Added Gen 1 - $50-60 (corvette, camaro, mustang, 350z, nsx, black skyline)
STi Gen 1 - upto $70 due to limited quantity at release
Gen 1 Shells - $20 (Blk RSX and red Mustang)
Rare Xmods - $100-120 not because they're rare, but because of shipping
Gen 2 Launch - $45-50 (Evo VII, 06 Mustang, G35, F150, Hummer, and Firebird)
Added Gen 2 - $45 about (tC, Titan, bumblebee, and barricade were very well in stock)
New Xmods -$50 while RS asks (personally i wanna see em go down to $30 before i buy)

Sadly enough people demand more than that knowing there's a market for it... If it were me i'd use these prices and a not so expensive shipping cost. If I want it to be profitable I'd ebay them without a buy it now price and let bid wars go crazy over it.

You shouldn't hold on to them forever, you will lose out. Eventually The demand will go down. Just like stocks you need to sell when the value is high. I doubt value for an xmod will go up again. For example my father collects everything. He had Cal Ripken baseball card rookie cards and when Cal Ripken was going for 2150 they were worth like 700$ He thought he would save them for me when I got older and they would be worth more. Now they are like 150$ or somthing. YOU NEED TO SELL WHEN THE DEMAND IS HOT. Sell now or lose money, GUARENTIED.

Honestly, are these really worth 3 digits? Maybe for an off-the-wall custom project, but not for a new in box toy.

Yea, 100+ not for an Xmod anyway. Rare ones, maybe, but those new supras, for example, better have new body kits and maybe a few upgrades for that price.

I'm still not sure what STi is.
Oh, that's what the "rare" xmods are. Ok thanks, didn't know that.

Yea, The Subaru Impreza STi Xmod was made at the end of the Gen 1 lifeline, unlike the other Xmods, the Subbie had maybe a couple months in its release lifespan becuase of the Gen 2's coming out. It was released as a Gen 1 and i never seen one in stores, I actually just missed buying one at a Local RS by a couple days. When I got to it, the RS had fresh Gen 2's and just sent the Gen 1s back to RS HQ for dismantling (sadness).

There's three Rare Impreza's out in the market, The white one, yellow one (Fujitsu or w/e it is), and orange one (HPI).

Google Subaru WRX, and then Google Subaru WRX STI and you will see the difference.

Seems to be about the best way you will understand.

I know they made a WRX xmod, is that the "STi" one they made less of or did they make a WRX and also a WRX STi?

What's the difference between the Impreza and the WRX anyway? Sorry, I'm a Honda/Acura guy...
