As long as they're AAA rechargeables.

Duracell and Energizer are the two mainly used brands of AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries with Xmods.

i personally run the 900 mah energizer ones. the duracell ones are 1000 mah so they are a little better. but they come dead. do not get the 15 minute charger it will shorten the life of them.

I dont like the duracells as much as the energizers, i have plenty of them, and thouroghly tested them I honestly didn't notice a big enough difference to spend 5-10$ more on 4 batteries, and a charger. The 15minute charger does lower the amounts of times you can charge the battery but its still usefull to have around if you want a quick charger...

i had the 15 minute charger with my first set of batteries, just because well 15 minutes or an hour or two. hmm. didn't want to wait the longer time. the 15 minute charger is ok every now and again but that set i first had are no longer shiny and have half the run time of the rest. they would get real hot charging in them.
what i was getting at was if you don't have a charger and are going to go buy one, don't get the 15 minute charger.
i have 8 or 9 sets of batteries and 4 chargers. it takes some time to charge them all, but the run time pays off.
