no u can't there is no way u can do that with stage2 motors and the stock gear ratio and your tire do not have enfough grip yhea anyone can get there tires off the ground by liftig it up with there hands. especaly if your car is raised in the rear. i am a mechanic and i know this is imposble with these little toy cars.

I dunno, I just took out my scale and found it takes 5.2 oz to lift the front end of a medium wheelbase car. I have a neo motor and 6 cells on one of my cars, I anchored my rear tires and nailed the throttle and mine didn't get the front wheeels up. I'd have to see this to believe it, otherwise, another urban XMOD myth.

It all has to do with weighting and torque. Lighten the front, weight the back and add some torque. Viola'...

Oh Hell, in that case I'll hang a freeking fishing weight off the back of my body, the thing will wheelie sitting still.

As far as wider tires are concerned, I'm making a set of offset wheels that are half again as wide as the stock wheels, I'm going to have to split tires until I can make a rig to true up my own silicone tires.

Default Its all in the CG and torque direction...

The center of gravity of a balanced car is just a bit rear of the
(measured center) of the wheel base.
Then the springs and torque is worked out.
The tires make lots of difference since they are the last point of contact in the equation.

(off topic): this is why larger brake rotor are placed on front wheels, there is more forward motion put to ground during braking, lifting the rear wheels.
The opposite is why larger tires are on the rear of high torque cars.

True the track of the tires with a (stabilizer) wire or bar (across the top rear shock poles) to flatten the tires to the earth.

Check with your motor if you need to concern yourself with torque.

A high torque motor will try to flip your car counter clockwise (looking rear to front).
The Mini-Z is easy to wheelie because of the motor direction. The XMOD has this to overcome as well.

If the C.G. is moved further back, you may accomplish a wheelie.
Having the 8 tooth gear helps with a high torque motor.
Wide tires help also.

It can be done. However, it's usually done with people that have put model monster truck tires on their xmod and use a ridiculously short gear ratio. I suppose if you can find grippy enough tires, it's entirely possible. The drag tires that come w/ the camaro and mustang body kits are grippy enough and tall enough if you can find enough torque in a motor (In fact, my stage 1 8t w/ neos and added winds is just screaming "TRY ME OUT"...)

Default Changing the CG

I looked over my cars and see that some of them have (trunk) space.
If I mount a single lith ion battery there and the other one some other place of balance, I can get the CG to ride far back. Then the car should be able to pop up... The next thing is using the 600 mah lith battery since it is a bit shorter than the 750 mah one. Then if I try the Stage one 8 tooth pinion with the NEO magnets, it should boost pretty quick. And since I would not be building this setup for a long run, I can feel good about using the 600 mah battery. Oh yeah, I would put reds in the front and blues in the back. It would also be the one time that I would also put a totally locked diff in the rear. Now if I could rig a short shaft for the drive gear and save weight with the long shaft...

I'll chat back on it later... and try it on a rubber floor mat if possible for grip.
