My 2 tone 6th cell toy. [ 56K WARNING ]
{Sorry for hugeness guys!}
Well, I've been wanting too do this project for awhile now, and I finally got too it. I decided too 2 tone / 3 tone my Bumblebee, I saved this car from a kid whom wanted too burn it, It was painted a ugly green and it was the worst paint ever, He was gonna burn it, But I threw him a 10 for it and took it, So I started too sand, and then quit, then last weekend, Finshed, Went out, got Some paint and clear coat, And got too work, This is like my best paintjob, I know many are better though, Dont diss it too bad, My red came out nice, But my black, Im not sure what happened, and the silver I know, It isnt the straightest, Yeah well. What it is, Barricade Chassis -AWD -Locked diffs -Blue rear suspension and Yellow Front suspension -S2 -Rims -3 degree tierod -Soft threaded tires. Thats all I can think of. So I painted the car 2 tone first, Black top, Red bottom, Figured, Lets do a strip, So I did a red strip on the top, Then I needed something too bring it all out, so I took a silver paint marker and did that, Then, The black rims didnt cut it, So they were also painted Red, With a small, Hard too see Silver lip. Well here it is, Tell me what you think, Dont diss it too hard. please resize your pics and try again ^ I know it sits high, Im getting Lowering kit from acura, in the mail now. ^ please resize your pics and try again ^ I know, Im missing lenses, I lost them ^ please resize your pics and try again ^ I know, You can see the 6th cell, and wires, It doesnt fit under the body =[ ^ Now can someone please tell me how I get my pictures smaller,? Im sick of this crap. Sorry for hugeness! Last edited by bondo; 02-27-2008 at 10:29 PM.. |

Looks awesome dude! You can easily clean up that strip, provided it will be a little wider, but just mask and spray a little cleaner one. Otherwise, that is awesome for a restoration. It looks really nice, and I am sure it is one-off. I really like it!
