as for an update. i got my new board in. but ive had so much crap going on, and been soo busy i havent been on much, and havnt worked on my xmods much at all. but it did come in. so hopefully ill have the rally car working soon.

Guys to be honest, i havnt even looked at any of my rally team in probably a week,. its junked up in a pile right now. I have been soooo incredibly busy its not even funny. My office right now is completly trashed with xmod junk from the new business its insain. Ill try to get back to it with in the next few weeks.

Well... The moment you have all been waiting for. an Update!!

My new board arrived i dunno probably over a week ago now. Big thanks again to B1G! So it was finally time to install it.







Then i got to thinking. I need to protect my Lithium polys from the abuse of the rally track. So first thing i did was put down a thin layer of bubble wrap between the car and batterys.



Next im going to be placing a thin piece of hard foam between the batterys and the skid plate. So they will be well projected from any damage or shock.
(no pictures yet)

anyways installed the batterys temporarly, and installed my RedMade Motor.







Then took it out side for its first test run... Heres the After Math...













I still need to install the skid plates, and foam for the lower batterys. But other wise, the subaru is pretty much complete!!


It didnt do the best in the snow. I need to do some more shaving on the body to fit the over sized rally tires. and they didnt have very good traction on this slick wet crap. But heres a video!!!

I didnt. it was only a skiff of snow, and it was pretty dry powder.

haha i know. But like i said it was only a skiff of powder, and i only did it for that short minute in the video, and then i ran it inside and dried it off super well. the top of the chassis didnt have moisture on it at all. So no worries. But it will be the last time it hits snow i think... If i can resist....

Its kinda hard to see the true performance on this beast. the wheels were just spinning the entire time and the car wasnt really moving lol. and my lipo's need a fresh charge.

it kinda sucked in teh snow. my wheels got to jammed up with snow it wouldnt turn. so i had no control over the car, it just kinda went where ever it wanted to go... Other wise i woulda been doing more "stunts" in the video. donuts and such. but the snow was just to caked into everything.

ehh it was only hitting aluminum. that car hurt my house more than my house hurt the car lol. Not even a paint scuff.
