Default Cardboard Truck Revistied

Once again, my bordem has caused me to make a third cardboard Xmod body. This time, I'm trying to achieve something like this:

The only changes I'll make is to paint it white and the rear will be covered all the way because I don't want the electronics exposed.

This is the side which is what I have so far... I'll cut out the rest of the pieces soon and put them together soon.

Wow,I got that same DR. Pepper can, thats weird, ain't it ?? ,lol.

Its coming along ok.How are you going to shape it?? Are you going to cut larger wheels wells for larger tires,or just put larger tires on(the reason I'm asking is because the wheels wont really match with the pictur,or any semi picture). Hope it comes out nicely.

Cab looks a little long in my opinion. In the first pictures you posted of the 1:1, the cab ended right over the end of the wheel well. Yours seems to extend past the wheel well by at least half an inch.

Friggen-sweet idea no matter what, and certainly is a nice start, but I was kinda hoping it'd be more to scale. Can't wait to see the end of this one.

Next time, you should try some styrene. You seem to have a knack for this custom body thing; take a step up and away from cardboard next time and use styrene.

thats a pretty cool idea, it would be cool if you used some packaging plastic and made windows, maybe you could add an interior too...

Interesting... How do you plan on mounting this? I'm curious, I might try one of these.

I don't really plan on changing the wheels... If I do, I just have to cut the wheel wells a little bigger.

Hm... I guess I should change the legnth of the cab...

I would use styrene, but I don't have a LHS so I can't get styrene... And I can't buy anything online which sucks...

I do plan on making an interior, just not yet. Have to get the body done first.

Um... I do the front clip holder around a Scion tC clip and I plan on doing the rear clip out of cardboard. It won't clip down though if I do that...
