Default Lexus LS600hl Model Build

Bought meself a new model the other day.

On sale of course.

Wheels, which I'm going to change.

The model is purrrdy **** big. Its about 8.5 inches long (twss).

It gobbles up the Evo chassis

And is even longer than the Truck chassis

This model's going to sit dormant for a while. I don't have the paints to start anything yet, and the weather isn't so great for spray painting.

Nice, thats a rare model, hows the details with fujimi models, they're so expensive and look simple -i think b/c ppl buy the extra kits for them- but their hoods don't even open.

Are you making this an xmod, or just building the model?

I shoulda made it clear that I'm not making it into an Xmods... I didn't spend $30 to just put in on an Xmods

I wanna go for the VIP look, but I still need to look up how to mod model cars a bit more before I'm confident in doin it.

There's also a guy called poupi on that forum and I've seen his before and that guy is an insaaannee scratch builder (he actually did the same model I did). Problem is I don't really have the money to make models on that level of detail -_-

LOL ya, that model is super popular I saw like 3 threads in 4 pages. Carpeting seems pretty easy and probably cheap -more or less- and if you have wire hoese and things are easy

So... After a few months, its finally summer vacation and time to get a goin on this model.

This is what I have planned out:

-Gunmetal Exterior
-Different Rims
-Flat black/ Gloss black/ Metallic brown interior w/ flocking
-Body kit modeled after VIP Auto Salon's LS460

I've only worked on the interior so far. I'm waiting for some putty to come in the mail before I work on the exterior.

I'm slow on finishing the interior since I'm still trying to figure out where all the colors will go and my LHS didn't have the gloss black from Tamiya in stock (and I forgot to get some flocking as well -_-)
