Ouch... I can barely get what you are asking...

Anyways, from what I get the Mini Z cost more so if money is an issue I guess the Xmod is your best bet.

I guess so...Maybe its the fact that we're on an XMOD forum

Go for an xmod to start with, when you'll get decent amount of cash you'll step into mini-z's.

well besides there being a cost difference, there is also a big difference as far as what your intentions are. If you want to do a lot of custom building and modding I would go with the Xmod. The miniz would be for if you want to do some serious racing and want a hobby grade 1/28 car. The Z has pretty much standard upgrades just like a hobby car and you wouldn't really want to chop it up. If it's your first car also I would go with an Xmod.

then you should probably go back to the xmod. if you already have some experience with them and all.

Miniz's are great little track cars. xmods on the other hand are not so great. i think the main reason is because the mini z has very percise suspension parts that don't wobble around. xmods have huge amounts of wheel wobble which make fine tuning almost impossible.

Plus the fact that Xmods have 16 steps in their steering while the MiniZ has around 256.

correction, mini-z's have 152. steps in their steering and their steering is much faster.
basically, the mini-z is the superior track racer, the xmod is well...the superior project car, but doesn't run nearly as well

Default Xmods....

Do an Xmods...I went to 3 of my local hobby stores and none of them carry any mini-z parts or support them with any accessories of any type.

If you already have a working Mini-Z, keep it. Just spend whatever money you need to get it running reasonably (tires, bearings?) and then stop right there and enjoy the car.
