Off road truck buildoff?

I think it would be pretty cool to do a little buildoff with the trucks. anyone else be interested?

Definitely a competition! Great suggestion though!

We currently have an open class comp running until the end of May, make sure that you keep your eyes open for the next time we ask for suggestions on what the June competition should be able and if you can get enough people we can do a truck build off!

We'll see. I have been toying around with the idea of buildoffs as another competition seperate from COTM competitions. We'll see what happens later on down the road.

I would hopefully enter.
5-10 people will enter,but some might enter there old off-road trucks,but its not new,they just have the old build-up pictures left over...Will it might be a new build off(old build off's trucks cant enter,only the trucks that are still in the process)??

I would do it. once i get my cotm project finished(probably won't finish it in time). I have a truck starting it's off roading days/monster trucking/crawling. If you want this to happen maybe think of some rules or guidelines to follow.

the rules are cool, but i think if we have a truck build off, the key word being build i think that custom chassis should be encouraged, when i say custom chassis i mean made from scratch or modded truck chassis not like an overland chassis..do i make any sense?

O, and how would u know if they are new or not?

i like the idea, but hows it diffren then having a competion where you can only ener trucks? isnt it pretty much the same

Crawler - The rules you write may not be the actual rules that will be used in the competition. Certain rules will need to be added or possibly deleted to agree with the staffs competition standards. Just want to you to be aware of that incase this does happen and you don't see your exact rules.

if you want a class specific comp then you have to do whateverone else has to do.
donate a prize and pick the class.

we're not goig to run two comps per month.
it doesnt matter if you call it a build off, it's still a comp.

A build-off isn't always a compition.
Me, RedSXmodder, and TI did a 'build-off' were I donated parts and we basically used each other's ideas and progress for motivation for our own builds.

If you do a truck build off, is it gonna be a crawler, trophy-truck, mudding/trail-truck, Street-Truck, and so on?

I'm intrested, but I want a worthwhile prize.
And is it limited to Evo-T's or can you use the Evo Cars or even the Gen1's?

EDIT:
And custom chassis? What if I use a bone-stock main chassis, but modify other aspects that I think are worth improving?
ie. Suspension, Motor/Gearing, Steering?
