Fresh To Def Lancer.

so... i got this lancer like a year ago from a guy with a forum name like hdrvv something. he sprayed on like thick coats of yellow paint on it. i had a hard time removing the paint.. i'll find a picture.. before before i painted it. i have plans with blt to meet up and ask him for some advice since we live relatively near each other. lol. he's a nice guy. Plans is to spray a Green and Black Themed Car. I got a design in mind and is drawing it on paper to picture how it might look like.

It will actually take quite a bit more work than that. You can see from the frontal picture that the left side of the body is cracked next to the missing lens. Its also got some horrible paint on it, and even the windows will probably need to be repainted. Its a little more than just replacing the body kit, thats for sure

Lol. it looks sexy already without paint. if you didnt notice, i made a lip for the front bumper in the recent pics. i dug out a spoiler for it. im going to have to glue it down after paint.

Whoever owned that before, Needs too learn how too drive, Serously.

that thing looks like it was bump drafting at talladaga then spun out and hit the wall at 190 MPH. lol Thats messed up. maybe you can learn from that guys mistake and drive with the body off . and not take it off any hugh jumps. or drive it in traffic

uuuuhhhhhh. Looked like it fell in a box of yellow crayons and sat in a trunk in 102 degree weather for a week. Lets get it repainted QUICK, it scares me. Good job on the sandin.

Yeah, I really hope the guy your bought it off of, gave up on rc cars, he fails, at life, and the interwebz.

You know, accidents happen, when you drive in a track with many other xmods, you can't get out of the race without a scratch on it...

For your information, The body actually protects the chassis itself, so i'd rather get a beat up body than getting some cracked knuckles and even worst.

Bugeye subie, take it easy, it's just a racing body that got beat up, I know myself that most of us here had painted and ruined an xmod before, and as I know of, I didn't fail at life and neither did most of us here.

However, it Looks like a good start aznKevin.

Thx Everyone. And Yes its true. hddrvr IS in GSR and races Mini-Z's now. He used the lancer to ABUSE COMPETION not to ABUSE LANCER. ;] im going to blt's place on the 29th. w00t. thats my birthday also. wish me a happy b-day. Turning 14.
