Take you motor out of your car but leave it plugged in to the motor plug.
Now turn on your xmod like your gonna drive it and throttle it backwards and forwards. Does the motor spin both ways?

If the answer is yes, you have a mechanical problem with your drivetrain.
If the answer is no, you have an electronics problem.

this happened to me...it's the forward FET. one of the legs fried...either replace the main board or pay someone to stack new FETs.

Default As for this

If you cannot or are unable to resolder a new set of FETs, then reverse the switch on your controller to press for forward...or if that does not work, reverse the leads on the motor.
In any event, I suggest getting both FETs in new with the higher capacity ones.

no, running li-ions w/stock board is fine, there was just a defect with the FET. the bad FET would have to be replaced for the V2 to work.

Radio Shack and try ordering part no. 12414207. I believe that is the main board. that should take care of your problem. remember to clean between the chassis and the main board...running it inside or out you run the chance of picking upi a small sliver of metal (which probably happened 2 us) and shorting a FET. when you get the new board cover the FETs with s thin coat of clear silicone sealent. that should keep dirt and moisture away.

the lithiums didnt cause your problem, you had a defective fet to begin with. i have 3 xmods with lithiums, they all work fine. actually i wish i had a dyno to put them on. they go pretty **** fast. i race them against miniz's at and they pull their wieght.
