Question How do you make xmod bodies?

As in what do you use to make it? Putty? Some Bondo? A Tutorial would be nice. Thanks =)

this may be the most vague thread there is. WHat dfo you mean..build it from nothing or...have a base and then make it custom?

i dont think many ppl have made one from scratch, but if i did, i'd use a mold and some fiberglass

To mold a body out of nothing i heard people use lexan. maybe u can try with some styrene sheets and putty.

alright thanks. Ill try to make a mold out of an existing body and customize it from there.

or try a model car kit, I'm doing a C6 mustang this weekend. I prefer JB quick and balsa wood to make new mounts for stock clips. You can get everything at a crafts store like micheals.

if u going to use balsa wood.. its going to snap easliy.. think about it.. he hits something hard.. the balsa wood is more than likely to break.. u going to have something that is firm and strong ehough to not be able to break

balss wood is firm and light enough to use for xmod clips. but if you can try to make them out of plexi glass. I also recommend RS double sided tape the super grip ones not the roll. I have built 6 custom xmods and have used balsa and cheap BKs to make the bodies work.
