That's purty much the only way to do it. Have you seen Advants on MZR? He made a "custom xTruck" with a custom tie rod. His turning radius is great.

Have you seen Advants? (Or was it Avant?)

P.S. on painting the chassis should i take it a apart or should I just take a couple parts off an d spray the entire chassis?

Yes, take it all apart and than spray it, it'll come out better. Also, I'll be try to the custom tie rod when I have time.
