skid plate
im thinkin about makin a skid plate for my truck. whats the best material to use. i was thinkin aluminum. like a coke can. its cheap easy to bend and easy to cut. but it may be to week and flimsy. help me out gimmie some ideas thanks!

Stainless Steel roof flashing is stronger than a can. Cheap as well. A hood from an xmod would also work. I use 2 layers of vinyl sticker sheet on my 1/8 scale nitro buggy and after 1 race season and bashing the chassis still looks brand new.

Ya mine you dont have to leave home to get it and a xmod doesn't have the power of nitro lol and my idea is lighter.

It's a plate that the car skids on when it contacts the ground, rocks, kids, branches, ect.
