Default Difference Between PN Racing Stock FET Motor and PN Racing Speedy 05 Motor?

I was wondering whats the differnce between those two motors? I dont want to mess with the FET's so would the stock FET motor be better for me? And I have a Evo Mustang with no motor upgrades, just springs tires and rechargable energizer batteries, and I was wondering what I have to do to make this motor work? Do I have to buy anything else? Will the current gear fit this motor? Also were would you guys recommend buying it from? Cause I would like to buy it soon.

the PN racing speedy is a very good motor. A noticable difference from stage 2 motors. All you need is a pinion of your choice and you would just have to screw it in place.

Ok I guess I will go with that motor, so its better than the Stock FET motor? So you cant use the stock pinion? What pinion should I go with?

Probably...

I've had the 05 BB motor, and it is noticably better than the FET stock motor, being the one I got came with ball bearings, which adds a suprising difference in motor performance.

I got both FET stock motor and the speedy 05 bb.

The fet stock seems to have a slight edge in top speed. The speedy 05 bb is a little slower, but has more torque. Enough to do some good burnouts and donuts in my heavy 6-cell mustang, and destroying the soft treaded tires on the rear.

Of the 2, I prefer and recommend the speedy 05 bb.

BB= ball bearing.

Atomic mods occasionally has the bb version, thats where I got mine.

You could go to the pnracing site and order it from there. I got my fet stock motor from them. It comes from a place called Kennon Hobby.

Here's the link: http://www.pnracing.com/

I think so.

Ball bearings= smoother operation, less friction.

Less friction= less heat, longer life, slightly higher rpm.

Well It looks like I will be going with the PN Racing Speedy 05 BB Motor from atomic mods, I just got off the phone with atomic mods and they said all I have to do is put the stock pinion on this motor and put criss cross the wires. I dont have to change anything else, so I will be ordering it from them soon hopefully later on today.

You have to put the red wire where the black wire was and but the black wire where the red wire was.
