WRX gen 1 or evo?

Ok guys, stupid question. Is the WRX a gen1 or Evo and can it be bought in the US? I've looked and looked and cant find out much about it and I really want one. thanks in advance. Later

It is a gen1 xmod which can no longer be purchased from RadioShack in the US - try eBay as that is where I got mine from.

yup... its gen1 and has been dicontinued here in the US, try asking people from Canada for one or just buy one from xmodsinternational or another online store. or you could put it on an evo chassis like most people do with gen1 bodies.

I think it maybe the rarest Xmod they released in the US because they never seemed to have very many of them...even when the were fully stocked they only had two or three in the stores. They always had the Civics...and a lot of times skylines and the Red Supra. Did they ever release the white supra in the US? Cause it's not on the Xmod webpage....i got my white supra on the net..lol

Ok then it's probly the rarest of the American releases...I'd rank the STI as second rarest. Because after they first came out...I never ever saw another one. I don't know if they couldn't keep them stocked or there weren't many delivered to the stores in the first place.

The white supra is rarest, and the WRX isn't far behind... Both never came to my RS's even back in '04....

Both the Gen1's and the Evo's are retired. RS is clearing them out for the ProPulse. Canadian supplier the Source (Circut City), I think it was the end of this month, that they can no longer carry Radio Shack products.

my source in canada carries every gen 1 EXCEPT the wrx! i wish they had them here in Ontario, Maybe they are in other provinces
