ok heres a thread to state what you wish you could change about xmods or related topics.

heres mine:

i wish gpm would start making alloy gears for the diffs instead of alloy shafts and plastic gears.
some alloy offroad parts would be nice too.

seems like all of the high abuse parts are still plastic.
the gears in an AWD setup would be alot more precise and durable if they were aluminum.

this is one of my last problems with my modster, im worried that when i upgrade to new power and motor im thinking that with the added torque, gears are going to start stripping and dogbones breaking.

I think that there should be more options from RS, including bodies, chassis parts, motors, body kits, wheels. and tires.

I agree with that and I wish there was more cars and trucks to choose froma dn in different colors also!!!

I think we could all agree here, more cars to choose from (and more colors too) and alloy parts(maybe not in the starter kits, but offered at radioshack as upgrades, so those that like plastic for the weight difference can have their way too)!!!

I wish they'd bring back gen 1's and stop doing this Japan gets all the cool colors crap. They should sell starter kits in a certain color and have that same car offered in different colors but sold separately like they did with the silver and black RSX

i wish they made better electronics, more bodykits(like conversion kits that veilside makes), more colors, more different cars, more driveshaft lengths, better gears, aluminum parts, stacked FETs, more wheels, lighter wheels, more wings, more than one led holder per headlight assembly, more neon setups, easier to manage battery holder, more prescision parts, etc.

the list will almost never end

i wish that people could put cuustom parts on your xmod and they come with more parts

yeah, I wish that, like in real life, there was two different kinds of the XMods. The first would be like the base-model kind that we get now, only $10 cheaper. And for $20 more ($60 now) you could get the "spec package" or somethin that allready comes with a better board, stage 2 motors, and all-wheel-drive in it, along with a "spec package" exclusive bodykit. That'd be sweet.

Oh, and if some of the electrical connections were male and female clips, so that (for example) you could just completely unclip the electronics board w/o having to unsolder things. So, like RS could sell a Stacked Fet Board for like $15, so that you could just simply unclip the original, and clip the new, more ampage board in place. (****, I need to make my own line of RC cars !)

Thats my opinion.

*EDIT*: Oh, and yes, I COMPLETELY agree that there should be some aluminum awd gears for the driveshaft. Oh, and it'd be cool if there was aluminum gears for like the motor too. Because they will strip if you get a high-power motor.

AND WHY ISN'T THERE AN ALUMINUM (evo series) COVER FOR THE ELECTRONICS BOARD??? THAT'D BE A BIG SELLER!

adjustable-on-the-fly chasis and suspension... i have ideas and just might build something. more bodies would be cool in more colors, and sell them and all the aftermarket parts in hobby shops too, cuz thats where enthusiasts go, once you get into it, RS just doesnt cut it anymore

I agree wiht bondo. In my XC2f60 project, I am probably going to go through alot of litttle plastic gears. Imagine how sweet an all aluminum differential would look.

Also, MC4L, if Xmods came with alumminum right OTB, it would take away the sheer enjoyment of having a full aluminum car.

I wish that Xmods came with adaptors for brushless motors.

thats true man... ok i change my "wish". i wish RS sold aluminuim parts cheaper than the online stores. that way we would have to pay $100+ for a full aluminuim car.
