Matters what batteries, and how you drive it. If you're driving it at full-throttle, non-stop, the runtime will be sohrter than driving on a really twisty R/C track. It's a fair amount faster, and I think it's worth it.

Yeah and they are also much easier to do than a lith setup

yes
a 4cell car with a heat sink stage 2 drag motor, awd, and bearings, runing without the body, with regular nonrechargeables, i get about 20-25 minutes of run time. the motor isn't hot. This is becuase I run it without the body, so cool air goes to the motor, not hot air.

its not that lol, the controller nos thingy is stupid, it jus changes low to hi trim when u push the button, i would tell u but i dunno if stixxx would like me tellin everybody

Ihad six cell but then the car was turned off, but then i smelt smoke turned around :x and holy crap it was like a chimney and the reciver sucked i would like 2 run after it to keep iy in range. i have an idea how it happended but im not sure can some1 let me know please? thanks
