EVO VIII PROJECT !! Just in time for the competition !!
All right guys!
Like I already said in a previous thread, Im going to entirely redo my EVO VIII (cause its all banged up)  and hopefully finish it just in time to enter it in the Competition. So here are some pics: (sry I only have my phone right now as a camera)  This is what the EVO looks like now  These are the materials Im gona use to work on the car  This is the black paint Im gona use to repaint the car  Im also gona modify the wild rear bumper (I hate how it looks) in order to mount the wide sideskirts. Ill start workin on the car a lil bit 2nite (i gota go out to eat and its already 7:30 pm in France) and Ill keep you guys updated. |

OK some more pics :
 Took all of the vinyls off , unscrewed the bumpers...Ready for Sanding !!  Im also gona hinge the doors as soon as the sanding is done. This way the car is ready for paint and I wont damage the new paint job with glue or such ! |

looks good, but y hinged doors? hood i can understand but when u do the doors if not done right are offset and dont look right and dont line up

 ok ok more pics. Im ready to paint the first layer of white but Itll have to wait until tomorow  This is the rear "wild bumper" which I modified  The bat doors ( I think they came out OK)   Over all car.....Im thinkin of leavin it like that ! OK so now Im ready to paint it black. I got the vinyls ready (The blue stripes represent what is going to stay white and everything that's white is going to be painted black). I also got the rims painted and found my 2 dual exhaust.
 Custom black painted G35 rims  What the rear looks like  The front + side  The two dual exhaust. So leme know what you guys think of the vinyl idea. Im done for 2nite cause I dont have a brush so b4 I get to paintin 2morow leme knwo if u like the idea !  |

 i got em from model cars (burago tunerz edition). From a 206 GTI lol well UPDATE (kinda sucks)  I cut my finger las night tryin to open a toy from a cereal box (to see how the light worked). Its not bad I just put that on so It would stop bleeding.....that means I proly wont start workin on the car until 2morow or the day after.   Now this is bothering me.....Its the first time I use enamel paint. So, just to test it out, I painted the rims black last night. Thing is I didnt use water or anything (duno if im supposed to) and now the rims still arent dry. Who can tell me how to use enamel paint? If not Ill just buy another kinda paint  Well finger is doin a lot better so I was able to paint. heres a few more pics (note done yet)  bat doors not totaly completed  rear bumper I LOVE IT !!!!  this car looks MEAN  Now I gota outline the white stripes w/ silver, detail the car a lil, mount the rims, then its done ! About 2 more days or < |

OK GUYS THE CAR IS FINISHED
Here are the final pics:  Looks like its about to fly doesnt it  shining with the neon  the 2 dual exhaust and widebody kit  When you see those headlights, get ready to race and make sure you got your liths recharged and ready to go >>>>>>>>>  Front end of the car  hood down, doors up  Sittin there, lookin clean  TOTAL HOURS OF WORK: 9 hours WAITING FOR PAINT TO DRY: 1 night TOTAL COST OF MATERIALS: 15 euros (about 11 dollars) OUTCOME OF A SUPERDUPER CAR: PRICELESS !!!  |
