I have an original wild willy, but I don't drive it anymore in fear of breaking some hard to get parts.
I had it since I was s kid in the 80s so I always held on to it for sentiment.

Kevin, i suggest not getting anything old, or cheaply made thats 1/10 scale or bigger, for the following reasons.
1. Harder to find good aftermarket parts 2. Breaks A LOT 3. your gonna end up spending $1000 just to keep it in working condition, when you can simply spend a bit more and get a good r/c car made from a good company and upgrade that and have it in perfect condition almost 100% of the time. If you want something thats good lok for the following companies: For On-Road: HPI: the Sprint series is really good(as ive heard) Kyosho: TF-5 series is really good Tamiya(TT-01 to the TT-04 series) VERY EASY TO FIND PARTS For Off-Road: Traxxas: anything goes VERY EASY TO FIND PARTS Team Associate: anything goes again VERY EASY TO FIND PARTS HPI: Blitz is kinda good, i personally dont like the way it feels, just too grippy for me

There's alot of them. Check out the upgrades-the "Champion" is the same but without drift tires and cool bodies:http://www.nitrorcx.com/exceed-champ...-upgrades.html and scroll down any page on this site and look on the left sidebar and youll see the upgrade bar.

no, the Sprint2 and E10 are not essentially the same. they are essentially different.
the suspension style is different, and the s2 is belt driven, while the e10 is shaft driven: BD drifting pros: -no torque steer -easy to change the gear ratios F/R for Countersteer Drifting -slighty more forgiving Cons: - belts whip sometimes -belts can snap from too much strain -belts can be damages by small pebbles kicked up from the surface - more expensive Shaft drive Pros: -cheaper -more resilient against rocks -exact wheelspeeds cons: -not as forgiving -torque steer -cans till snap or twist driveshaft to the breaking point -lots of friction from all the gearings -harder to adjust
