Default Truck stencil chassi for 7.99!

The truck chassis is up on acmexmods.com fro 7.99. Looks more like and add on than a chassis though, but what a great looking cheap way to add lith to a truck.

thats cool, but I think i'll be cheap and try to hack up the stock chassis to run a lith setup. It'll get me to know the chassis better

I went and bought one. I guess that makes me a liar. Anyways, the install is pretty easy and the chassis is very sturdy. If your not constantly running into solid objects, the chassis should hold up for a very long time. I'll post pictures later if people are interested.

well, compared to modiying the stock chassis to use lipos and li-ions, this chassis gives you better ground clearence. I think this chassis was worth it, it help give me better ground clearence, easier than to hack up the stock chassis, and only $20

Also, I don't think theres any possible way you can hit a rock hard enough to puncture the battery.Since the construction of the shell is basically like any AA size battery, the only possible way to really burst the cell is to hit with a hammer.

Besides, if you were about to hit a rock, your front bumper is gonna hit the rock and probably move it out of the way. Well, I hope you guys understood the point I was trying to make

Hello CC,

There is more protection than you think, I have dropped, bashed, run in to, and fallen off. You name it and I most likely tried to do it to see what type of failures we could get.

I have damaged the battery more by sliding them in and out than just running them in the car. The batteries are not the lowest point, the front bulk head and king pins are lower and deflect the car before it has a chance to get to the batteries.

It is really hard to judge a product unless you have tried it for yourself, especially something that is different from what you are used to.

I have sold quite a few now and everyone is very happy with what it is and how it performs, and in most cases it exceeds their expectations.

Yes the batteries are exposed but, all cases of lithium exploding that I know they exploded during charging, and the battery should not be in the car for charging.

You are intitled to your own opinion but, I like to try the product before I pass judgement.
