New to Xmods and having some difficulties.

Well theres one guy that works there that I met up with and me and my friends bought 3 used xmods of his, so if i find him it should all be good...

The 1st gens working pretty nicely, but it has a couple kinks too, when it hits something a battery always pops out, and it turns left amazingly, but it takes right turns like a nascar driver.(if you dont get it... it cant do right turns)

Gen 1 > EVO (least I think so)
But the Evos do have a lower center of gravity, and better servo electronics.
Not sure which suspension is better though.

Well the GTR is returned they didn't have anymore so I have store credit for when more come in stock... I tried doing a spray paint job on the civic.... that didn't turn out too well.

Did you sand off the paint and did you mask the windows? xD

The Gen 1's have the cantilever suspension.

Dude, for a second I was going to ask how did yo get a picture of my car!
That looks pretty much exactly how mine turned out... I masked the windows but didn't sand anything, and just sprayed it down... turned out just like that! haha... i went out for a bit and my friends had my xmods, I come back and they carved all kinds of "rice" references (their american muscle car junkies, whilst I heart the JDM) into the crap paint of my lil civic... I got kind of ****ed, however they did try to sand it down for me, however in the process, they sanded out the blacks in the windows I was trying to preserve... So... I said to hell with it and sanded the whole **** thing, and it's sitting in the backyard right now drying from where I resprayed it, hopefully it comes out better this time...

that got stripped down my ammonia. it burned the plastic in the process. i got respray pic of the civic. i finally stepped on it and threw that POS away. xD

Hahah im trying not to give up on it. I really loved the way that little civic looked, and it's my first first gen, and the only xmod I have currently since I had to return my GTR until they get a new one in stock, sincemy last one was a POS.
