i posted the wheels now, and yeah the green looked funny, i was planning on painting them just hadn't done it yet. they look a lot better now that they are black though. thanks

thanks, i was looking for dice to hang from the mirror of this when i came across these. they work pretty good, i want to get a tap so they fit a little snugger.

a little pricey for me, 10 bucks for 1 set? i bought a whole bag of the dice like i have on my wheels for a buck, red, white, and black dice. i'll probably make my own set. thanks for the link though

got the inside of the body painted, now let it dry and set it on the chassis to see how she looks. tomorrow or the next day though for those pics
i did some work on the interior door panels and dash. i was going to throw the chrome on the dash but decided against it. i did some painting instead. the chrome silver lines and handles turned out great. the black not so great, shouldda just left it red, o well. the black lines are raise up little bumps and the brush kept wanting to come off of it. and i tried doing those with a toothpick and didn't get into the lower parts. so i will let it dry and touch up the red and see how she turns out. heres some pics

i think i might just paint over the black on the door panels.
i got some pics of the body sitting on the chassis, its a very sexy look, now it just needs the chrome, and i am going to have to put 1 more coat on the hood before i call it done.

thanks, the lights will be hidden better and i have something in mind that will make the light spread out more in the cab.
update time
got a few coats of clear on there, it looks better, dunno though might do a few more. we will see. i fixed the door panels, but they looked like crap, i got to looking in the kit and it came with 2 different styles of door panels. i like these better. the only thing that sucks is no door locks, o well. i do have a little bit of touch up to do on the panels, but its only to be expected when you have to use a toothpick to paint it. the one panel turned out really really nice. i was even able to get the screw heads that hold the speaker in. heres some pics

i love how that car is sitting, nice choice of wheels and paint as well...and amazing interior details, i never have good luck painting that small, the silver makes everything pop...can't wait to see her 100%...

thanks man, i usually have decent luck on intricate stuff, just takes time and a few beers to calm the nerves down enough.


update time, got some chrome on, she looks pretty now

i'll get a better pic, it doesn't have that lean on the countertop, right there its sitting on the washing machine lid. and that thing bubbles out

got the dash and the rest of the interior fitted. she looks good. last update from me until its finished.

well i got it all put together, got the engine in, and got the curb feelers mounted. those were a pain to make and mount. i used the red rs motor wire to make them. got some new lights in it, the rest of the chrome and the lights. window are in, back one had to be painted.

so.... what do you guys think, good, bad, something i could have done different? any comments or criticism?
