Default Motor/External Board Question.

I have a 19t handwound armature, what board/ external turbo would be able to handle that?

Thanks

your best bet would be the stacked Nelly. Search stacked nelly on ebay as ph2t stopped making them. they are basically the only external turbos that I know of that are capable of sustaining prolonged(about 90% of your runtime) full throttle on a 19t.

If ou can't find one, try these: spider v4.0(best), v2.2(2nd best), spider v3.0(3rd best), or a tall(emphasis on tall) FET stack(last)

if you can't get these then your xmod will fry

the generation 1's tolerance is 45 turns or higher
the evo's tolerance is 35 turns or higher
19t lacks a lot of torque btw. you'll have to take up around 2-3 tennis court lengths to get it to top speed(and your motor will run very hot)

in contrast, a higher wind count would have more torque but less speed

just for reference, a stock motor has 64t and the upgrade motor(stage 2) has 54t.

you might want to check your references. if your saying these are a stock tolerance your off. if a evo would handle 35 turn on stock fets why do you need at least 2x2 stack, but recommended 2x3 stack to run the chili? which is 35 turns.

that's a general tolerance. the chilli uses thicker wire.
the true tolerance is 33t of 34AWG wire.
it's not stating the absolute tolerance.
gen ones have a tolerance of 43t of 34AWG wire.
does that clear it up?
the chili has thicker wire so it pulls more current
