the motor is the same the lift kit has nothing to do with the motor lol. the only thing with that motor is that you need to either 1 unsolder those wires on the diy one and the xmod one and then solder the xmod wires on the crawler motor. or unsolder the tabs that hook onto the xmod and solder thos on the the ends of the motor lol the first method is easier. but if you want speed and tourqe get a radline. and buy the kit from xmodsnut it comes with the off road upgrade and m,ore
