CJ's project RSX (not 56k friendly)

Okay, seeing as the Scooby is out of action (again), I've decided to get myself something to work on. That something is my brother's old RSX. The first thing on the cards is getting the body sorted.

So, I've got a couple of ideas, the first thing being a respray.
Here's the body stripped of all parts.





Picked up some goodies from the model shop a couple of weeks ago.



Surface primer and masking tape. Should come in handy.
I wasted no time in getting the body masked up.





Any suggestions on the colour? I'm thinking Ferrari Tur De France blue.

the blue is nice, RSX's are also nice in the right orange or white. BTW good to see you around again.

That blue looks great on an RSX. Aznballa painted an RSX like that, looks great.

You might want to redo the masking on the windsheild. I see some window showing, unless that's just the picture.

i think those are the parts that are rubber on the car, maybe he'll be flat blacking it?

And Lancer_Man, it is in fact a bit of window there showing, I'll make sure to retouch that before I spray.

Definitely go over the windows again, with some of the thicker blue masking tape.

Those are all great ideas, however I'm going for a clean JDM style on this project, so I don't think they'll be on the actual car. I may use them for something else though, so thanks for that guys!

that's a really nice blue...there is a rsx that parks at my apartment complex that color and it looks really nice....as far as the ferrari in the pic the onwer must either be retired or a really high ranking officer in the navy to own that....but hope to see completed pics....

The blue is a great color for that car. Just make sure you have another color to contrast it, seeing it is kinda dark.
