?? GM still has the 5.3...i got the 4.8 because it gets slightly better gas mileage and has the same horsepower as the previous year's 5.3...to make it clear, i dont care who could and couldnt take me...dont argue with me over the internet that your car is faster than mine unless you plan on taking your *** here and proving it...otherwise stfu and quit ranting like an idiot in my thread.

if one more person takes this thread off topic talking about how fast their car is compared to SS's your getting points and the thread is getting closed.

who the hell are any of you to challenge someone to an immaginary race over the internet?
go ahead and talk about cars but this crap is waaay past out of hand.

FWIW, half of you jokers dont know your head from your toes when it comes to comparing hp/gearing/weight/torque/fuel/air.

Body kit and neon? Sounds ricey to me.

I say stick with the performance upgrades for now, SS. Have you looked into any suspension components yet?

Look into the Koni Yellow/Ground Control Shocks/Spring Combo. Very popluar and tunable for the rest of the Honda platforms, should hold true for you. Since you have McPerson (sp?) front suspension, I would possibly invest in a front Strut (not Sway) Bar, the three reach kind that bolts to the upper part of the firewall, to stiffen it; as some say the Hondas are week in the frame (flexiable) and the Struts transfer alot of energy to the body.

Funny that it's your wifes car... Mum and her BF testdrove the Si last week. Mum says she likes the handling (as she does all Hondas..) and her BF likes the performance end of it...

Updates:

Fujita SRI install...went well, was a pain in the *** because the MAF sensor brackets didnt quite match the holes on the intake...but i got it all to work...

looks clean...sounds good, it was a good investment overall...oh...and the leet skeletanimal

ordered these fog lights for it...smoked...mmmmmm

i decided to stick with the stock head and tail lights because everything else looks ricey...im going to try and find somebody to professionally smoke and clear them for us instead. also, im in the process of powdercoating the wheels gunmetal...after this, i aint touching it for a while...its hard to mod it without ricing it.

I assume Honda has air flow from the cowl area in that case. SS and I are talking about making a 3rd gen Firebird Formula style hood. Off-set cowl induction hood.

thats where the stock air box was, those pictures make it look more tight than what it actually is, it's got lots of room to breathe offset cowl ftw imo

Nice intake. The new motor bay set up is odd and crowded.

The ole' 92 I had was a lot easier to work on/get to everything.(not my car)

To bad they don't still do the dash shifter set up. That seams like it would be an efficient set up for road racing.
