Have you checked the steering knob on the back of the controller?

It's like a volume knob for a stereo, turn it all the way to the right and it should steer more.

Set your left and right steering trims they should be on the top of the controllers...

Its says St. trim then has too buttons L and R hit the R one a bunch of times while the car is on and the controller is too, then drive forward with the steering wheel not turned if it still turns then adjust it some more...Do this until it is dead center. However it will revert back to normal when you turn off the controller or car, so the better way is to recenter your servo which since i dont have an EVO, i cant help you out...

Edit: wait what it happens on both sides??

How bad is it? It could just be steering slop, because remember these arnt hobby grade they are still toys. If it does this alot you may not be getting enough power to your servo to make it go straight all the way. I would check the solders on your servo wires...

Well I have a Titan and havn't ever had a problem with the steering. Are All the Dogbones Connected Together Good. I think that it would by the left and right steering trim on the top of the controller. But i Guess thats not the problem.

if its the tierod thats loose, just take the tierod out and push the pin in.
If its the actual servo gear:
first, take off the fron end of the truck where you install awd. while doing this you should take off the tie rod. after this, take the board cover off. If you don't have a soldering iron be very cautious not to pull out any servo wires by mistake. now go to where the servo turns the tierod. there should be a screw connected to it. tighten this and see if it fixes it. if it doesn't. unscrew that and all of the other screws to get to all of the gears. clean all of the gears off to get rid of sand and re-lube them. you can use vasiline or something. put everything back together and hopefully it will work.

He's not an idiot.
Dogbones can be an issue, sometimes they come out of the axle housing and get cought outside of the axle housing,in fact,I used to have that issue, but it only trook me like 4 seconds before I figured it out(that was along time ago).

-Do you run your truck through alot of loose sand??? Most of the time, when you run through alot of loose sand, sand will get around the steering servo gears and mess them up(I know, because I have that problem with my Hummer,I go muddin' with it).

-Have you ever messed with the steering servo at all ?? Sometimes people mess with them to see if they can fix a problem with the steering, but they actually mess it up,they mess up the gears, and the POT.

-Check your front knuckles to see if they are cracke/broken.The stock plastic knuckles are easily broken.

Tell me if its fixed or if you see the problem.
