Default Killer New Monster Tires Found!!!!

Ok so I'm building a crawler and I wanted some bigger tires then the super swampers but the IROKS are too hard to use so I started hunting around and I found these. They come in a 2 pack of John Deere tractors made by ERTL and sold at toy stores for $12.00 for a 2 pack. So these tires are basicly $6.00 a set!!!!! They are super soft rubber that really digs in! Anyway I mounted them by useing a stock set of Hummer wheels glued to the inside of the monsters wheels and acess to the wheel nut is made thru a 3/8 hole drilled thru the center of the monster wheel. I can make a tut if anyone needs me to. Anyway here ya go!

Heres a great shot. It drove there, I didn't set it there just for the pic.

They are heavy and the stage 2 motor has trouble with them. But with the servo mod I did it runs juuuuuust fine. And goes anywhere! Also with heavy tires it has the lowest CG possible so back flips are reduced big time!

I'm considering a battery relocation mod but for now it does good the way it is.

They look nice, try to paint the wheels. The yellow looks ...odd on there.

They will be painted aluminum color. And when I took it off road for the first time it turns out they do rub while making turns and hitting bumps. So a battery tray reloction is the next mod for the truck.
