My killer track idea
Ok, so I was fooling around with TONS of LED's last night, and made a little street light thing. It had 3 street lights per foot. I mounted 3 of them on a ruler. So, then I got this idea, since my garage is getting cleaned out this week, the only thing that'll be in there si 5 bikes, a lawn mower, and a small workbench. Why not put an awesome track in there? I desperately need a place to drive my cars around, and, I have a good bit of xmod friends that live nearby that could also benefit from it. Tell me, will this construction work.
THE BASIC LAYOUT. It would be a road coarse, no ovals. It would have a few long straightaways, and a few 180 degree turns for drifting, and some more cool stuff. THE COOL STUFF BANKED TURNS I would have some banked turns. I would do this by taking small blocks of wood, and thin sheets of plywood, and make a bank. Then I'd slide it under the corner. REMOVABLE RAMPS I would make small ramps, that would slide into place, like have a little place in the wall of the track where I slide the ramp in. LIGHTS The coolest feature yet. Have my homemade street lamps line the walls, and have battery pack for each set, and hook them up to a micro switch, (I looked at it, It'll work) so I can turn them on and off. I know it's over the top, but ya know, I am all out of projects to do, and doubt my folks will let me get another one soon (even though I have enough for about 3) tell me whatcha think of my crazy, insane, idea.

sounds good man, you can get tons of leds on ebay real cheap...
im looking for some peices to make a bridge on a track but the only one i saw was $115 +shipping i think thats a little too steep, check it out if you have the time http://cgi.ebay.com/IMAT-TRACK-SET-B...QQcmdZViewItem
