Clear plastic is usually more brittle than a solid colored plastic anyway. But if you insist on using those ones, use the clear, as its easier to see if there's crud on your comm. |

im going with the blue. I dont like how the clear looks and the blue has a bearing.

Looking good is fine, but sacrificing reliability? Err... Not so fast there... a 47T motor may not heat up, but it can reach higher temps if there's binding in the drivetrain or through continuous running. No R/C hobbyist ever sacrifices reliability for 'check this out, its cool-looking'. |

IMO, you don't need fancy motors, FET upgrades, etc. Just get a red body, or paint yours red, and you'll be zooming past the competition as if they were standing still |

got the final pics up
Specs: 47t Big Silver Comm Armature Neo Magnets 104 Caps Blue Endbell Blue Case Carbon Brushes Mini-Z Motor Wires Note: The motor wires are connected on the other side of the motor because I have a mini-z awd and the motor mounts face first so the vent holes would get covered if I put the wires on the front. |

You know what looks cooler than any enbell out there, and functions alot better too? The Atomic M1 endbell! I'm going to have to order me some of them.
Ask oromac about the melty-ness of the endbells your using, he'll have a good story for you... Later, RedSXmodder |

BLUE endball, 47T, iso-ferrite, 25-30 mph on li-ions, never melted the endball. I havent driven it in forever though, my Li-ions went dead.

roughly 25-30. But it was easily taken out left an right by crap in the road, lol.
Iso-ferrites allow for more RPM, and even with the highest xmod gearing, it was able to break the tires loose on concrete off the line. Like mid-high RPMs ofcourse, it was pretty frikin quick.

Awd and a home-made LSD in the back, it was controllable for the most part, haha, had to be easy with it indoors. Just about as fast as you can get with no FET upgrade, almost. The tall gearing was just barely too much with li-ions pushing it. But a single stack of new FETs hold it fine, I forgot what type they were.
