help!

ok heres what happened.

i modded my gen1 to a 6 cell upgrade and i did a power switch bypass.

and it worked fine.
then when i put the body on the xmod. it started to heat up.
i smelled a burning sent.
so i took out the batteries.
one of the coils was hekka hot, and i burned my finger.

can some one help me?
i tried searching but nothin.

Could be a problem with the wiring. I don't know for sure, I've never done a 6 cell before. I have heard of people cutting out the windows to allow more air in to cool the batteries.

Make sure you didn't fry any fets in the process. Hook up the original 4 batteries and see if you still have forward and reverse

Was your antenna wire loose?

You might have bridged the wire and fried your range.
