Default 2001 C5R from RK5

Well, I finally got my first XMOD, the Vette. The body kit has come interesting panels but I think I'm going to make some changes. About a year ago I bought a Revell C5-R model and never finished it, the decals now are going to be part of this project. I took them to Kinko's and had them scanned at 90%, took the file home and printed it out on some Detail Master decal film for use on the 1/28th scale car. Right now i have the RK5 nose and rocker panels but the wing rear end, which is how the car will look. I have the RK5 hood on, but the stock hood will be modified to look like the C5-R louvered hood. I found a great set of reference site for the car at http://www.fast-autos.net/chevrolet/...rvettec5r.html, the yellow car is better looking than the yellow and white 2000 version. Also, this is the last car that Dale Sr. drove in the Rolex 24 before being killed. The headlights may be the hardest thing to duplicate but I think I can handle it without much problem.
Anyway, as the project progresses I'll take some pics.

The easiest way to do it would be to buy a Mini-Z C5R body and adapt it, since the wheelbase will be close.
