Default what batteries and charger do you guys recommend?

after reading many of these threads I think I have decided to get some 1000 maH rechargeable AAA batteries for the xmods I have.

Who do you guys recommend I purchase these batteries and a charger from?

LiPo? LiIon? NiMH?

NiMH, Wal-Mart. Energizer batterys fall apart easy, stray from those. I've had bad experience with them. They're 850mAh, however..

LiPo, Ebay. Great deals for both charger and battery packs.

LiIon, Cheapbatteryspace, and make your own and buy a charger from a hobby shop.

I purchased 8 NiMH batteries off of eBay, they where Tenergy 1000mAh rechargeable and they ruled! As for the charger I just used the stock Xmods one!

If you have the money go with LiPo otherwise look at the Tenergy ones - think they cost me 20 bucks!

Id just buy the IC-3's for quality but then you could also do Ebay and just buy a whole bulk of them so you always have a fresh set.

I have the 1000mah Duracells and Energizer charger too. Haven't used much other batteries but all I can say is stay away from the crappy Radioshack rechargeables. They are alot weaker and cost $21 which is double the price of say my 1000mah Duracell batteries for example
