maybe she'll just have a go at the wife.....either way works for me.

i wasnt too thrilled about the size of the bird either but the decal came from a 20 yr old kit and i conscider myself lucky to still have it.

that's also the kit that the headlights came from.
i tried printing my own decals and got the size right but it just wasn't crisp enough for my liking so i went with the big bird.

i think it works though,it's far from perfect but it helps fill in what would have been **** near a half an inch of empty space.

What was said about the rims... I quite liked them... maybe painting them gold would appease the masses
i think that so far, you,me and tex are the only ones that do like them.....

i'm not too sure on the gold though.
i just dont think that gold and chrome rims would look good on a black and blue car.
i'm thinking more of a carbon or graphite color with blue/flat black highlights and a chrome lip.

the bumpers should be here in a day or two so this project might see completion in the next coming weeks.

i've gotten a few things done and the front half is **** near finished but i'm not going to post any updates of the car until the wheels are done.
i will post a teaser of what's going on the car though....:::

cheers guys,

Nice job on the taillights I have done that once with 3 lights and glueing them inside the yellow bearing off a gen 1 and it looked better than stock. But yours still look better since there aren't dots.

thanks guys.
i bought some fibre optic cable and cut it up.
i need to get my rear bumper going again so i can make them fully functional instead of a few dim lights.

the beauty of fiber optics is that, theoretically, i can run all of my car lights from one or two diodes.
i've got some plans to use the FO's on my challenger too,it's going to be something more then just head/taillights though so keep an eye out.

How are you diffusing the light that comes out of the end of the cable?

It's hard to tell (on my phone) but is that just multiple strands laid flat at the end? Or are we getting into trade secret territory?

Nice Progress. The lights resemble some sort of broom. As in the RSX, i meant what did you do to it... its all ugly.

well guys, after frustrations and personal demons i've finally found some ambition to attempt to finish up some of these old projects.
first up is this bad dad.
i'll post up a little background info since it's been so long.

for those who don't know or remember,i had this car **** near finished until one of the beagles chomped the rear bumper.
i got it away in time to save damage.

nothing a little glue and putty wont cure right?.......wrong...
she got ahold of it again and chomped it well beyond repair...

zippo hooked me up with some replacements but after the second chomping i was just too frustrated to mess with it,hence the "vacation".

but...i finally started round #3 on the rear bumper and the end of this car is in sight.:dh)

more to come soon
