Help! I think i fried my car

Hi,im not a beginner but the other day i picked up my gen1 350z put in my batteries and it moved an inch then stop and it kept doing that until it stoped responding completely. Soon after i had smelt this burnig smell, like so i go nervous and opened up the body and a puff of smoke came out! i had a feeling that i fried my EP (electronics package) but i tried my car again and the ep was fine, so was the car but it only went like three feet away .Then i opened up the car and looked at my inductors and one of them was burnt black but the other that the antenna was attached to looked fine?
I also had fifth cell upgrade. thanks.
1>why didnt both of them burn up ?
2. do i have to replace both
3.can i take some from my parts car and will they work or would i have to buy range repair from atomicmods.com.
4.did my metal snap connectors cause it? thnks.

i dont know much about GEN1s but i know some stuff about electronics. yes if your eletronics turn BLACK then its been fried.

1. i couldn't say i cant think of any reason why both DIDN"T fry
2. no just replace the fried 1
3.if the parts from your parts car work then YES you can use them, if they dont it would be cheaper to go to RS and see if they hade any resistors of the kind on the xmod.
4.im dont think so... you might want to upgrade all your electronics on your EP so that the amps don't fry your electronics.
