Unidentified Knife

I found a old knife on the counter and i was like KEWL. I looked at it... old and it has no brand, with the wooden side or plastic or w/e grips that were glued on missing. I turned it around, there it says, 1787 and 1987. I was like ohh old knife. I like. Then I opened it up, (folding knife) it says 200th Anniversary and a eagle on the blade. The blade had little rust and I polished it off. The knife top and bottom have brass decoration, the middle part with the date and missing pieces are made of plastic. The pieces that go in are supposed to be a logo on one side and some grip thing on the other. It also has a serial number on it too, so it must be special?

PS: it also says Stainless Taiwan.

well a pic would help alot but since it says (Stainless Taiwan) i do not think it is that old if it is what i think it is i got one with a car on it for the last b-day if i can find a pic i will post it

I would guess it's a US Constitution knife, probably sold on TV or something.

the eagle and dates make me agree with bart. but it could be something else.

EDIT: its still really sharp, and old.... good quality knife, looks american made. but made in taiwan

No nothing close.

. It folds, its just a plain eagle, nothing more. Looks like a razor blade sorta when folded. Whatever it is, its my lucky charm now <3

Same design, but the brass parts are plain, theres eagle and 200th anniversary on blade, and the middle part says 1787 with a logo between 1987.

I have that knife as well, I know exactly what you are talking about.. but, the knife is at my moms house 80 miles away from me. So I can't put up a picture either.

I have no idea if there is anything special about it, but I kept it around too just incase. Mine has seen some better days I believe..

If I remember, and no one has put up a pic by Saturday, I'll put one up. Someone will probably need to send me a PM on Friday or Saturday for me to remember, because I have HORRIBLE memory when it comes to pictures and videos for the internet forums.. I still need to get a video of my MERV for crying out loud.

No, I found it in a house that I moved into. So, definitely no price.. and brand I have NO clue. It's been years since I've even picked the knife up.
