Default - Project NSX -

Thank you Howlsatmoonlight for the NSX, now I have a gen. 1 again, lol. The goal of this project is to make the NSX looks as clean as possible, white and black just like the rare white NSX body. Just a simple paint job and re-badge the car on this one, very simple.

I just got the package today and this is how it looks when I first got it.

Then I clean up the car a bit.

Primer stage.

1st coat of paint.

Replaced the Acura emblem with the JDM Honda emblem on the tail light.

This is how far I got up to today. More to come later.

Incredible work as always! I love the addition of the more detailed JDM Honda logo! Give this Honda the justice it deserves! Good luck with the project!

Looks sweet. I've always liked the white NSX better. It looks more sleek! Can't wait to see the finished product.

What I did was to buy a White NSX body kit, and just repainted the main body with white. The body kit already has the H symbols on them. But you will not have the stock look, just the aftermarket looks from the kit. And color matching was a pain in the rear end. I couldn't find these small scale symbol to do it your way.

That's gonna be one mouth watering NSX you are doing. Great paint job and detailing as always!

Thanks, I got them from ebay, they are made by Crazy Modeler.

Yup, they are photo-etch metal emblems, the Honda badge on my Fit are made by Tamiya, but the Fit license plate are made by Crazy Modeler, they can be found on ebay.

I would go with your idea if I don't have extra body kit piece, but I have some Honda Emblem sitting around, so I though, why not give it a try.

Update: Nothing much done, i laid down 2 more coats of white on the body. I'll need to order some spray can soon, I ran out of black and clear. I love the quality of Tamiya spray can, but something I hate it, I wish they could have a bigger can.

Update: Its finally finished. Such a simple project, but I took so long to get it done, haha. Anyway, I'll let the pics speak for itself.

I got a bad news though...I'll be putting her in my FS thread soon, I needed the funds to help out my other projects.
