Paint Update!

So as you know, the project is called XMS GT-R, and for all of you I hope you were following AzNkEvIn's original. Kevin drew out these graffiti XMS letters and they've inspired me to remake the car after i picked it up from him, so naturally I have to preserve the letters. How to do that? well simple, tracing paper, markets, a bright screen and index car makes a stencil... here you are, the car was primer, painted black, wet sanded, re-coated black to cover up imperfections, masked and as it sits now, 2 Coats of pearl white.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The pearl white after two coats (light powder then cover coat, 3rd coat was applied as a wet coat, still needs a couple more coats)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's looking really good. I love how you kept the XMS decals so perfect and such. The black is nicely laid. Well done.

lol
i like the graffiti that's on that gtr.
maybe if you made it like, not a single color graff-tag, but like, with the outline and like, the graffitti glow that a lot of graffitti has.
just search up common graffitti styles, and you'll know what i'm talking about.

I was worried when the gloss black i sprayed turned into matte, but the pearl/matte mix i think is dead sexy, more pics at the finish line.

I agree with him. Outline the XMS logo with red. It mite also help make the lines look better. Either way this car came out realy nice. Great job on it.

I don't like the Prostreet bumper design, but dang -- your bodywork skills have really matured. Great job on that as well as the paint!

If you're not going to do the wbk I don't think you'll be able to use any of my Rays RE30's, though...
