The mix-matched wheels are killin' it for me. Other than that, interesting so far.

well i have been working on the front end for a little, and got the front end mounted up! wheels sit pretty good, and theres full turn in them too.
heres the pics.

you can see how much i had to cut of the rims to make them work, the rims are stock with in the back, and the fronts cut. alot.

well i have yet another update, moving pretty fast on this. its got one coat of paint on it.

first pics of the unfinished body and finished chassis.

now after sanding, and primer i have the first coat of color, blue, on the cab and bed. next steps after paint is to make a box around the glue on the back to look cleaner then to paint the bed a silver.

more tomorrow.

Legos eh? Looking better dude. I was gonna say- try that Pactra lexan paint because it comes much thinner than acrylics or enamels and lets you get a very smooth coat easily.

yea im not realy liking the blue either, idk what im going to do for full paint yet. and you mean the rear tires? the wheels and rear tires all came with another model kit i have so i did a little modding to the rear rim, and then got it all to fit.

if you want to hide the legos you could always make like a little tool box under the bed, but its looking good

Paint's gettin too thick, it's losing it's body lines. Did you strip off the blue?

the paint did get too thick, so im gonna resand down just the cab, cause the bed is pretty good. and then repaint the cab black. so it'll look like a regular flatbed truck would with the silver bed, and diff color cab. I'm not that good at painting so every time i keep trying i get a little bit better each time.
