I think you need more lighting... Grab a lamp or something so the camera shutter doesn't need to be open so long.

for your pics try a white background, more light, macro mode...and i even use a timer sometimes cus my hands can be a bit shaky...good luck with the project...like the body and color...would be nice to be able to see it more clearly
