CAT 5 wire
Does anyone know anything about using a CAT 5 wire for the antenna wire. Im talking about soldering it to where the original antenna wire used to be, i heard you can make an internal antenna if you do that too. anyone have a link to a tut. What i realy need to know about is the length of the cat 5 wire. I also heard that after a certain amont of time it wil mess up your x mod, is that true?

I have done this, but I havent tried it out yet(adding more upgrades first). IM sure it should add something, I dont know if it will be really dramatic, but the current sholud have better travel and connection. I did already try a internal antenna on one of my cars. I did see an improvement in the range, It depends on how much wire you use and how you wind and mount it. It really does work. aBOVE, Im justusing cat5 to connect the normal antenna.
