Default Carbon fiber

I may not have got my xmod but i`m still looking at parts and was wondering if the carbon fiber shaft kit and the carbon fiber awd center shaft gear would be good on a drift car?Because they are lighter so it would make the car lighter also better acceleration.

if the parts are lighter it should reduce the rotational mass freeing up power.

Please stop with the center thing it's annoying.
It won't give you more power, but it will free up some of the energy that is lost to a heavier shaft. But it's almost worthless (not to mention almost bad) if you don't have bearings.

Yeah but it's a waste. Save your money on better upgrades then that. Your not a circuit racer so theres no point in wasting the $$$$. You won't even notice a difference.

it's not hard to find. it's not that expensive either. 10 bucks at XmodsInternational and you got yourself a carbon shaft.

but most things are worthless without good ballbearings.
so http://www.vxb.com/
and getting the carbon shaft in addition to bearings will help with acceleration, freeing up the energy used to turn a heavy driveshaft.
the composite gears you don't need though, so just skip that.
the bearings will reduce wheel wobble, add precision and make the car run smoother because rolling friction is much less than sliding friction. so the power used to act against that friction is also freed up.
therefore, your car is more able to go fast.
less wheel scrub that the motor has to fight, less bouncing about of the axles also takes load off the motor.
in all, the bearings make more difference, but the driveshaft is a good upgrade.
also since the load on the motor is lighter, the batteries last longer.

What ball bearings would be good though????Also you can get all three shafts at am for $22.99 which is better instead of paying 10$ a piece for each shaft.

sealed or open, as long as it's evo, it'll work on the car.
and both work just as good.
or you can go to http://www.egrracing.com/ and get all three shafts and the center gears in one pack for 18 ninety something
