Wow, the Fujica STX-1 looks pretty good. As much as I'd love a film SLR, I kind of think that D-SLR is a better bang for the buck for me, since I usually take photos to photoshop or put online.

What's your asking price for the Fujica, anyway?

And no, I don't have AIM.

As lilskipro587, I am also Vista ready. But I choose to wait until the bugs are fixed up, since I plan on taking advantage of nVIDIA's SLI system later on.

lilskipro587 - Nice front panel!

Anyways, here's a pic that's more present. You can see the cable sleeving that I did inside the case... It was bloody frustrating and very time consuming!

two words holy and ****!!!! i love that setup, cant wait till i get me some money for that!! im running an ? pentium 3, 733 mghz, 7?? ram an Hp cd writer pro, emprex dvd rom, one 40 gig hdd, and a 60 gig hdd, but an nvidia 512 mb video card?, but about vista, you have to run a dual core proccessor (or 2 processors) or it will crap out on you...

I'm running home and the commit charge from explorer.exe alone is huge, and if you only have a 4 gig hard drive almost half of it should be xp files.

I'm sorry to argue, but I can't see why in the world xp would run better then 98SE, only on the condition that windows XP requirements are way higher to run then that of 98SE.

I must agree...I have a thinkpad a22m (1gh 20gig) that came with 98 (230 bucks on ebay). upgraded to 2000 and then xp and xp runs better than anything on it. I dont know all there is to know about computers but i swear by ibm. Had a 770 thinkpad (233mhz) up until 6 months ago.

W00T!! Mine's a thinkpad 600. toughest laptop out there!!

Supressor...I don't know who installed your OS...but XP pro on both of my computers barely take up a Gig and a half.

and yes, XP pro runs substantially smoother and faster....not to mention more reliably.

I installed it, but take into consideration I have service pack 2 and someother stuff, I took everything off that xp cd i could and put it on my computer cuz i got lots of room. I used the old 5200 x rpm 12 hd from my old seanix, so yea its gonna run slow. But thats okay. I was smarter at 14 then i was now. I choose parts for my computer that I could upgrade down the road with I'm going to get a SATA DVD R/RW drive soon, and another 512 mb ram, and that old 12 gigs going as soon as i upgrade to High speed, because I have a monthly bandwidth limit of 2 gigs right now and it's crap since i'll do more updating then 2 gigs lol

er... ANyone know any websites with lay-down cases for computers?

I'm looking to possibly mod my xbox, but I want a laydown case with top and front light's or view.... Anyone tried this?

PS:
My head still hurts...

PPS: I'm changing the title, again.

PPPPPPPPS:

WARNING:!
Dear Consumas:

It has come ta our attention dat a coupola copies of the Windows (Brooklyn Edition) may have accidentally bin shipped outsida Brooklyn. If ya got one a dese, you may need some help understandin' da commands.

Da Brooklyn edition may be recognized by da unique openin' screen. It reads: "Windas" wit a background picture of Grand Army Plaza. When you start da program, instead of da usual "harpy, stringy" music, you hear da teme from da Godfadda. It is also shipped wit a Sopranos screen sava.

Please also note:

-Recycle Bin is labeled "Staten Island."

-My Computer is called "My Friggin' Computa."

-The Inbox is referred to as "Da Trunk."

- Deleted Items are referred to as "Wacked," "Erased," or "Rubbed Out."

- Dial up Networking is called "Da Bar."

- Control Panel is known as the "Da Bosses."

- Performin' an "illegal operation" is known as "enhancin' the family business" and will actually maximize da program instead of shuttin' it down.

- Hard Drive is referred to as "Da BQE Rush Hour."

- Instead of an error message a "You ain't gonna friggin' believe dis!" pops up.

CHANGES IN TERMINOLOGY IN DA BROOKLYN EDITION:

OK...................Sure ting
Cancel............Fugetaboutit
Reset.............Start Ova
Yes.................Yeah
No...................Nah
Find................Put a contract out on
Browse..........Get a looksee
Back...............U toin
Help................(Help ain't available - yous don't need no stinkin' help)
Stop................Knock it off
Start...............Move it!
Settings.........Here's d' Rules

Also note dat any voice recognition software run on da Brooklyn Edition platform don't recognize da letter "R."

Some programs and udder accessories dat are exclusive ta Windas:

Typa...................A word processin' program
Printa.................Printer
Calculata...........Calculator
Solitare.............Seven Card Stud

We regret any inconvenience it may have caused if you received a copy of da Brooklyn Edition. You may return it to Microsoft for a replacement version.

Yous got a problem wit dat?
Sincerely (yeah, I can spel dat), BILL ("4 eyes") GATES
